Welcome to The Chaos Kitchen Collective, the Unhinged Homemakers - Sage & Supper recipe group and the official place to share what’s happening in your kitchen, whether it’s a full homemade meal, a random grocery swap, a recipe you swear by, or one of those “I threw this together and somehow it worked” situations.

This group is for recipes, kitchen tips, food swaps, pantry finds, must-have products, label-reading discoveries, meal ideas, and anything else that makes feeding ourselves and our people feel a little easier.

I’m very much in my homemade-ish era, which means I’m trying to make better choices without pretending I’m suddenly going to become the kind of person who makes every single thing from scratch. Some things are worth making. Some things are worth buying. Some things are worth swapping. Some things can stay exactly where they are because we all have lives.

That’s the whole vibe here.

Share the recipe you make every week. Share the sauce you switched to because the ingredients were better. Share the snack your kid actually ate. Share the cleaner pantry staple. Share the lazy dinner that saved your night. Share the thing you bought because TikTok got you, and now we all need to know whether it was worth it.

This is also a place for the practical little kitchen stuff people gatekeep for no reason. The seasoning blend that makes ground turkey less depressing. The freezer meal that actually reheats well. The store-bought shortcut that does not taste like regret. The pan, gadget, cookbook, cutting board, storage container, or random kitchen thing you now feel weirdly loyal to.

If you try a swap and it works, tell us, PLZ! If you try a swap and your family acts personally attacked, also tell us. That is useful data for us lol.

No perfection required. No shame if your “recipe” starts with a box, a jar, or whatever was left in the fridge. We are here for real kitchens, real families, real schedules, and food people will actually eat.

So post the recipe. Drop the swap. Ask the question. Tell us what worked. Tell us what absolutely did not. Show us the weird little grocery find you are now emotionally attached to.

Welcome to The Chaos Kitchen Collective. Stir the pot, but like… in the helpful way.
